Wider field of view
Conventional wrap prescription sunglasses use a single spherical 8 base lens
for every prescription in the range. Because of the angle of the frame,
another result for wearers is peripheral blur. Spazio lenses by SOLA
incorporate three different atoric designs to minimize peripheral blur in all
powers, resulting in the first prescription wrap lenses with wide, clear
vision all the way to the periphery.
Superior Rx cosmetics
SOLA has incorporated a tapered edge in Spazio lenses for prescriptions of
-4.00 or more by using a peripheral secondary curve that's flatter than the Rx
back surface of the lens. The result is a product with thinner edges that
looks better and is more comfortable to wear.
Improved lens retention
Unlike some prescription wrap lenses, Spazio lenses are edged using
proprietary edging software and equipment to ensure the lenses are held
securely in the frame and provide the best possible aesthetics.
